Artist Development
TribeSound isn’t just a recording studio, we’re also an independent record label. Here’s a list of services our label can offer to help you develop as a successful artist. Feel free to ask us about our artist development program.
Producing – It’s always nice to have a non-biased ear when it comes to recording. Our producers have tons of experience and can aid in producing a sonically slammin’ record.
Session Musicians – Need an instrument that you don’t have on hand? We have roughly 50 session musicians to choose from to get those textures you want but can’t play.
Mastering your CD is crucial to a finished product. Plan on $400.00 to $750.00 for mastering, this depends on length of album and mastering house.
Artwork – TribeSound has an excellent graphic designer to help create an eye catching professional looking package. Unit and design prices depend on the type of media you decide on. See price list to view pricing and common packaging options.
Promotional Materials - Materials differ from client to client but always budget for print materials. Business cards, Posters, Gig Schedules, Post Cards, T-Shirts, and everything in between. You want it, we can get it.
Web Design – We can help you spice up your facebook and myspace pages. But when social networks just won’t cut it you’ll need a professional website devoted for your project.
Press kit - Your promotional package is important for booking and radio play. There are a myriad of things we can do to create a professional and creative package for you.
Video Production – We have the ability to produce a music video for any project under any budget. Costs vary depending on the number of cameras, specialty shots, permits, and location.
Professional Photography – A picture is worth a thousand words but it doesn’t have to cost a thousand bucks.
Copyright - We copyright your material with the US copyright office. ($50.00 processing fee) ARTISTS RETAIN 100% OF THEIR COPYRIGHT. This is why you’re paying us for recording; you’re putting your money out there and you should have complete control of your art and own your own masters. Collaborative works may entitle other composers rights to a percentage of the copyright.
Register with ASCAP –www.ASCAP.com ASCAP protects the rights of its members by licensing and distributing royalties for the non-dramatic public performances of their copyrighted works. $35.00 each writer must have their own membership.
Music Publishing – Once you’re finished your CD let us help you sell it! We can help you find licensing for your music while you maintain ownership.
